Out tonight in nearby local paths bordering fields,
two weak single signals as if passing..
a bit breezy though...

I recorded last nights bat on my phone.
Must get good lights for my bike...

Aye, enough.
Hopefully none to cut by end of the year..
Early night methinks..
youngest youngest is here tonight so keeping quiet
the youngest was here for tea...
Any idea what breed/type of bat you're "finding"?
You're certain it was just a breeze, nothing else.

You worked out what you'll say if asked exactly what you're up to?
Decent lights are always worthwhile. But they'll also put things off from coming near you.

You managed to retain some green space for lying down in the sun!
Early night, at this time!!
Bottle duties again. You'll be doing it in yer sleep before long...
The Young In any better than you at pulling faces.

Rough guess, t'ther night a Soprano Pipistrelle..
10% certain:laugh:
I heard a faint one-off at ///lengthen.quoted.rentals and even fainter one of at ///something.physical.void
Pretty breezy but both in more sheltered bits....

Been on the hut applying another coat of yon bitumen paint along the nails and seams..
much easier this time and no black sticky stuff on me
Have the paint for inside the hut but too warm just now, cooler days maybe.
Wee soul slept until back of seven, no bottle duties.

Nah, I'm the bees knees at funny face (no need to practice) and funny noises..

10%! That certain...
And you're training yer ears to be able to tell the difference with what in mind.

That's where a cheap boiler suit comes in handy. No worrying over getting anything on yer clothes, and you look as though your actually know what yer doing.
What colour are you doing the inside?
No sore ribs or interrupted sleep, she's doing well.

Give him lessons, but keep yer best for yerself.

Aye, been playing with the short audio file I recorded and it sounds a bit more clearer, might look a bit closer over the next few days..
ideal night out for it but out at the hut, dib dib...
Inside? willow, one side wall done last summer...
baba gone back to its parents...

I have some white paper type disposable suits somewhere but Jeez, it'd be murder in this wx..

Think we have rain forecast...

You get the weekend to rest!
Suppose you charge yer batteries up at the same time...
There's bat's aplenty round here. Right outside the bedroom window most nights/mornings.
Been told, by the experts, that there's Horseshoe Bat's in the area.
You planning on playing it back to them when you get a chance. Might be a mating call!

Why not four different coloured walls?
You sound disappointed.

The paper suit's don't get you that much warmer. And they can save yer clothes.

Ten day's of "torrential downpours", with a high risk of flooding. Followed by another "heatwave" in August. If they can be believed.

Saturday Saturday, it's you guessed Saturday...

(groan).
not a fan of Saturdays..
more needed :cuppa:

Ahh, someone else who doesn't particularly like weekends? Crieff is getting more and more houses built and it's getting too busy for me now compared to when I moved here. Unless Ernie chaps the door at the start of the month there's not a lot I can do about it.

I am inclined to do any walks/jogs/cycles early at the weekend then hide indoors later when it gets busy.

Forecasts? all it takes is one little deviation of a system to throw it all awry.
see Fish. M 'I can assure you missus,no big wind tonight (or similar)

Once hooked one on a backcast (flyfishing) and got it 'removed' and it was to say the least guffing...
nah, I'll stick to what I know best:laugh:
Might head out at dusk, try another spot...
getting interested in this lark..
lark? nah that's a bird..
This is what set me off

saving the meteor scatter one just now..
I've done some 48 hr monitoring for that but nothing so I'll try this method next

the wee fella is showing interest in birds so granda is well up on that stuff so might take a trip to some RSPB venues with him..

nah, same colour, like linearity.

Hiya:hello::hello:

Seems to be everywhere,
we do drives all over the place and new housing is popping up everywhere..
the corridors into Glasgow ? everywhere..
I come from a built area and I'm used plus now I am an incomer..
Joiner told us the locals were against this development as it was farm land..
Thing is 80% of the housing here was farmland and built in the 30 40 years...

Ernie? I can't get a lucky dip in the lottery..
maybe tonight..
you'll soon know, I'll employ a forum poster for me....

I had a two mile plus walk the other night with no tweaky tendon next day..
I'll try another over the weekend....

It's obligatory, you have to have a Saturday if you accept the other six days of the week.

Call it Friday Part Two then.
Yet as a kid you'll have liked them, Saturday's that is. Down the local picture house in the morning, hanging around the local park in the afternoon.

Thing is, for the most part, it's just like any other day of the week now.
I'm convinced there's money swappo hands that shouldn't be at times, when I see what's been allowed. And I've said it.
I mean how do you not see 50 houses being built in a field where they shouldn't be?

You gonna do a runner with the milkman?

Sat was ABC Minors, later play footy in morning then the football in the aft, the days of 3pm kickoffs, home and some away games..

There is that, and sometimes misinterpretation of the data. But I'd be happy, well less inclined to moan about them if they just got wet and dry correct every once in a while.

Yer not supposed to catch anything out of the water, it's against rod rules.
Who introduced you to the whole thing then. Not someone with equipment he "might be willing to part with" were it?
They're not too keen on wet weather.
Larks are early risers, so must be early to bed as well.
Bob's the Batman!!

Other than cash, and sanity, what have you to loose by trying.

He'll be wanting wall space for his posters, possibly in your room. No local wildlife spots you could take him to. Open ground, parks, that sort of thing.

Linearity, not familiar with their works. Any good?
