a good day to hing oot yer washin'..

reminder, must buy Mrs M a new stone
or should I save her hauling the washin' to and from the stream 2 miles away?
and get one of those new fangled twin tubs ?

Breezy here. Too breezy to chance hanging any washing outside. Unless you don't mind washing it again, assuming you get it back.

Rocks are cheaper than twin tubs. You can pick one up almost anywhere these day's.
You could offer to help carry the washing home.

Our day was a Monday, light a fire under the big cast tub, batter the washing occasionally with a thing like a pick handle, two deep ceramic sinks and a wringer , Acme if I remember..

then a Hoover single tub (pre-loved) model with a built in wringer..
our machine now plays tunes to let you know what cycle or operation is finished...

Latest one can be controlled from a mobile phone. Set it going, stop it and even get alerts for when it runs into a problem.

Earlier was the spring clean of my wee room, still got floor to hoover, tomorrow will do.
The Pledge got laid down and shiny, shiny..
I could wax (groan) lyrical about the shine

Finally got logging program label part to work so now its much easier to print off labels for return cards..
I'll do labels tomorrow as well.

TV is mince (again), the Toob for me I think..

amazed I could fit a ladder between hut and fence and get up...
