Heading to the south, west to east. It'll miss here.
Local breweries, in this area, all had their own water supplies. The site of one, Ramsden's*, of them, still has the water supply running into the building. Cleaner than the tap water being used. And cleaner than the bottled water being supplied as drinking water in the water coolers.

*Taken over Samuel Webster's, they had their own reservoir built for the brewery.

Beer has always been safer than water to drink......

One of my 'connectors' (Live) to the power supply from my radio was playing up and a wiggle normally would fix, this morning it wiggled no more so off to find 6mm inside diameter replacement connector and crimping tool. I had none, zip, nada of that size..
I've used five in five years so I got a packet of 100 so I'm okay for the next century..
hopefully all okay now...

Probably why they put so time and effort into the conversion process.

Always a bad place to be hit, in the Trossachs.
New garden centre?

You wiggled it to death! Couldn't you just have tightened it again, no wiggling?
And you'll be around to get yer monies worth...
You mean to say you have no faith in your own repairs!!

Opens door, shifts eyes right then left..
seems clear, no one been in yet..

G'day :hello:

Roasty toasty at the Towers,
showing 27.5c

Wot eejit decided to cut his grass after 10..
not me some other eejit..
Mhor looks guilty..

a wee tidy up, removal of some dead looking leaves....

feet up now and waiting on the Tour de Suisse..
before Beag appears and its Paw Patrol:rolleyes:
Ah, that old shifty look...
Did you look up and down though. Were in but out as well. Doctors this morning, and hospital tomorrow morning.

Owdo

Warmer down these parts. Into the mid 30's, 36°C at half two in Leeds, when I were there. As I wasn't here.

Da Boss cut it?
Explains the shifty look, and the guilty look.
If the leaves have fallen, they're generally dead and require clearing up. They can't get on the compost heap by themselves.

Just point to the naughty corner, and stay watching the cycling.

It happened again after the repair so took a large ferrite ring and wrapped patch lead around it a few times so banking on it being RFI feedback...so far so good..
Got NV for the set of 50 WAS and praying it gets confirmed....

You don't think it's just the loose fitting connection then.
What'll you do if the ferrite core decides to stop working, goes on strike?
You were down on yer knees!! Think it'll work over paying for them.

You been struck yet. We'd about five minutes of light rain, which only made things worse. We need a decent downpour, and a good thunder storm to clear the air. One way or the other

You're going to sweating away to nowt by the end of the week, fan or no fan!

Custard as well?

I took lead off and 'poured' solder into the lug hole, if this doesn't work it'll be a strip back and redo completely..
all extremities crossed....

Pretty hot (like me)
24c just now and the sun making its way around to blast the WX station.

Beag(ette) is with us this am, smiles aplenty for Bob..
Have I got a funny face

Did you try a clip round t'lughole?
Might have worked.
Are you up for the possible job at hand!
Mustvmake moving somewhat difficult, if not just odd.

Improvement on yesterday, or are you now wanting the Southern California move sooner rather than later?

Never having seen yer face I'm unable to answer that question. Maybe the Young Un has been saying summat.

I'm going to have a go at building up a computer,
I have a tower stored away so I'll strip it tomorrow and fit a newer power supply...to start with..
Afternoon
Taps aff, you mean you've got rain?
At the ready, for when you head out...
It's not too bad I suppose and should it get warm, I'll try and stay cool.

'Taps aff' is a Scottish peculiarity meaning the WX is sunny and warm enough to remove one's top (shirt, vest, jumper etc)..
no rain, just incessant heat topped at 28.6c.
We had the usual visit from Beag so both grandkids here today, the wee yin was sweltering but full of the joys....
Binned Paw Patrol, Ben and Holly's Magic Kingdom now....
I'm an Elf ToooooooooooooT :hello:
They give Nanny Plum the best lines......

That seems like the best way to start, having a working power supply. Should make using it a lot easier.

Tops off! Why couldn't you say that. I thought the recent dry spell had you worrying over yer water supply.
You didn't strip off, did you. In the back garden, think of the neighbours.
Got warmer as the day went on here, same as yesterday and the day before that.
Your heart melted by something other than the current warm spell.
I'd be careful, they could be planning on taking over your room.
Has he no respect for all the homework you put in, learning who was who and what they could do?
You start afresh, again.

I use the Scots expression just to keep it alive..
no Englishsizing some stuff, old chap..
me? Greenpeace would turn up and try and drag me back into deep water..

Plants and veg all fed and fed....
catching up on early morning rounders....
amongst other things....

23.5c just now, jeez..
and it hasn't bathed the back garden totally yet.. gonna be a warm one..
plenty fluids available....

Day off from babysitting/childminding......
off to catch up with things....
