And you'll be inside as well, for either activity.

For yerself...
You could introduce him to them.
What goes into getting the exterior looking correct, whilst leaving what's inside untouched. Unless yer adding bells and whistle.
It can, but when you consider the number that one manufacturer has made over the years.
Limited Editions are taking over again, prices have increased and many folk can't pay, or won't, the prices being asked. Leaving a limited market.

We'd a brief period of snowfall here, now stopped.
Same here, someone has burst a bag of icing sugar
It seems mostly revamps of older models..
not many steam engines being made now...
there's a steam railway nearby..
might be good for a summer visit...
it we choo choo se to go:rolleyes:

With 3d printing and lidar radar, you can get stuff so detailed now...
even get the plooks on Plug's face ( for non Scots, a plook is a spot)
That's okay then
Does the pole have a fair chance of outrunning you?

Couldn't find him (or her)...

You're to get worse overnight and tomorrow, according to the met office bods. Maybe half an inch, not the 10cm an hour they've forecasted.
I think they've covered most classes over the years, but the smaller ones seen in the yards are very seldom done. Despite calls for them to be done, by serious modellers and beginners.
The "rivet counters" are ruining it for the rest of us.
One nearby here as well. Think "The Railway Children".
You could pull up there with the Young Un.

And yet they stick to injection moulding, including for runs of 500 models.

They escaped from you then.

We seem to follow trends from that slop heap...
All mostly for the worse..
Pish TV, banal programming, yon lifestyle type stuff..
Love Island and its ilk, are we reduced to this type of crappo....

Precipitation? rain....(I have used this on occasion)
Rain event, snow event, Storm Fuddy etc etc..
every wind above 30 MPH is a storm this or that..

I used to get into work each morn, the boss would ask, 'what's it to be today?'
I'd say this and that..
He'd pass me the long winded guff they used to pay for which was just some WX forecast all padded out.
I told him,
Met Office app which is not far off most days....

I never watch the forecast on TV as I protest at no big thick black isobars..
You knew instantly if it was to howl or not...

Bring back McAskill , Fish, Bacon and their like..

I'm off to check if anyone is on my lawn

Love Island! Anything like Fantasy Island, with "the plane boss, the plane"?

Blind panic has set in down here. A little over an inch of snow on the paths is heavy snow. Roads are clear, but " it wasn't expected to be this bad!".
Isobars on a map, would folk know what they mean nowadays.

I tend to have been watching the days before, so go with that. Nature was always better at getting it right than we'll ever be.

Was there anyone on yer lawn then?

For some reason the original reply vanished into the ether somewhere, hopefully this one won't follow it.

I dunno, I only use that as an example..

I saw plenty of snow on the news (first time I've seen tv news in yonks) down your way..
we have some but more a couple of sugar bags burst....
think it could be slippy outside.

Think I'll allow the heating to go above 12c....
just check down the deep recesses of the couch for the bawbees to cover the cost.....
plus there may be some pizza there as well:laugh:
Funnily the temp is flip-flopping below then back up past 0C...

nah, it's more an occasionally grassy bit..
me a greenkeeper too

You've heard of it though, I hadn't until you mentioned it.

We've about four to six inches, non sticking over Leeds way, at present. More due overnight. Early morning appointment, not certain if I'll be able to get there. Roads are impassable in places due to cars getting stuck in the snow.
Could well be slippy out there, take it easy on yer bike.
As high as that!
Don't forget to remove anything that shouldn't be on a pizza before eating it.

We're below zero here, for the last few hours.

No unwanted folk on your lawn with cameras, saying what will fall in the next few hours.

For once we were lower than you, and the snow remains.
No vehicle movement until mid afternoon, due to the snow.
Council caught out by it snowing in winter. Half this years grit went on the roads in that warm spell last year.

The "Three L's", do you reckon they're good enough to get you down to the scout hut. If you felt like going.
Nap enjoyed?

How big/old are the bridges? They built them well back in the day.
In case yer not, wrap up, keep warm, and don't let yerself dehydrate...

I'm just getting over it. First in over 3 years so took bad with it. My legs are still a bit wobbly but getting there and stopped coughing as much now thankfully. Hope you feel better soon.
You got a chilly walk in!
The cough is the worst part, I think.

Just noticed, you've stopped leaving a double space after yer full stops. When did this happen?
