61 didn't come this morning......

not really free, 12 quids for a rewards card:cuppa:

I'd have a wee foray up a pimple if one toe wasn't poisoned:laugh:
Might skip the tomatoes/or whatever inside next year as it faces more W what isn't handy...

Spring bulb selection ordered, more than pleased with last years so same order...

2 doves? a pie:whistle:
Try 63 instead, 61 is probably being held for hitting 60.

Six quid for a cup of coffee! Hope you made the most of it.
Leave that toe at home, resting.
Onions instead?

When will they turn up, just before or after they're due to be planted.

Pies were never mentioned in the song.

They'd have to have a better offer to get me in the door.
You're boss as well as you with a free coffee.
Your treat I suppose?

Mrs M could potter about garden centres for a living...
I could tag along and both us get a cup...
I could spend a bawbee or two on scones and look extravagant...

Me the Boss, you kidding ?:cuppa:

Deep in investigation pear and cherry tree types (for pots)...
and having a wee scroll through the free telly on my Sammy TV.....

Best of both worlds them. You can sit in the cafe, whilst Mrs M potters about the garden centre.
Take some of yer own, special dietary needs.

You keep hold of the important cards don't you?
You know the ones that get you the free coffee.

Yer strong enough lift and carry them I take. Even with yer poisoned toe.
Sammy tv?

Isn't today the last day of summer? That'll make tomorrow the first day of autumn.
Dry and sunny out for this last day.

That's a bit unfair. You doing the important stuff, and you're time allowed is cut short by having to wander round.

Anywhere you recognised?
They did Queensbury Station on it once, and the various lines off it. They missed the walk down to it though.

Just a couple in Scotland, the one that has partially opened again, Borders line and the other was the Ballater - Aberdeen line....
Ideal cycling and walking tracks so think the boost to some rural businesses, coffee, cake and food..
The village W of Dundee where Mrs M was brought up in had a railway closed by Beeching and would have been a perfect gateway to the countryside from Dundee...
sadly quite a bit is lost.
They are fixing up the old Denny line and intending to make a off-branch to Bonnybridge and the main part will eventually join up to the Falkirk Wheel but they ain't fast through here at stuff it seems. Not a long stretch by any means but will be auld punter friendly:biggrin:
Virgin Media , in their Cabletel days, laid cables along old railway lines in conjunction with Sustrans (?) and had contributed quite a few quids to project, on the F&C canal as well...

Oh, and Cherry pleased to have bought a Pear of trees:becool:

They've "plans to reopen" part of the High level railway line near me. A viaduct with a drop of over 150 foot, onto new houses being built underneath. Be nice if they did, it'd save two miles of uphill travel.

Looks great on a map, including the tunnel they plan on reopening.

Why's Cherry pleased you bought a pair of pear trees?

A pear and cherry, I was trying to be cryptic...
Thought we'd get them as they were the pick of the specimens they had..
mind you knowing my luck when I choose anything, something happens....
both good healthy with some fresh growth showing, who knows how I can afford the pots for them as they are the expensive part:laugh:
Tonight was spent talking resistance, antenna resonance and other radio related gobbledegook etc..

Only the one of each then.
You'll be keeping them inside over the winter months. You don't want them during on you before they have the chance to see the new growing season.
Just don't feed them too much.

Down the scout hut again. Did they have biscuit's this time?

Will you be waiting long do you think?
...tonight, everything will be alright...

Did you share them out or keep them quiet!
Not many "young un's" on here. What were 78's then.
The "naughty spot" again, I dunno.
You being good and not raiding the cupboards.

What time and channel?

iPlayer, Sport website and red button apparently..
78s were make of some breakable stuff derived from shellac or something
,more likely a dodgy move by the record industry..

calorie counting

I might just try to catch part of it then, depends.
Were they long play though?
Thought it were down to a slower speed allowing more on the record.

Don't read the labels/packaging, save yourself worrying about stuff like that.
