Do they do bicycle adverts?
More a stout man missen. Otherwise it's normally Harp.
Hard to do Guinness wrong.

Did you have a taste of it once you'd opened it!
Wasn't Kew Organic Gin Explorers Strength, was it. Just checked, not having heard of explorer strength, £105 excluding postage!!

The Lakes....Explorer strength..

I must look to see what Kew I have left..
it is truly the best I've sampled by far..

Top five ?
Kew Organic
Whitetail (very close second)
Roku
Bloody Shiraz
Sipsmith's Chilli and Lime

Guinness has to be well poured, sadly too many establishments haven't a clue..
not a drink I enjoy at home...
has to be pub poured

Is that cheaper than the Kew's one?
Hope so.

At £105 a bottle, it'd best be drunk slowly. Get your moneys worth.

Don't touch them, so I'll take your word on them.

True, but done correctly it's possible to drink at home. You one for the pub?

Someone has a bottle for me, must check first..

I wouldn't spend THAT money on booze.....

Twas Friday the last time I checked.

Chocolate & choclate cake overdose yesterday! You're slowly getting over it.

Not one missen, but the odd time maybe. Gone are the quiet days at the pub. Either the "music" is on full blast or there's trouble nearby.

Last bottle was bought duty free on the ferry from Ireland. No supply problems then.

Someone got you a bottle for yer birthday. Did they leave the contents inside for you?

Well that time of year, again, I thought you might have splashed out. Even then it should do the next ten at that price.
I realised that, coins and notes on a cord

Owdo

Well the weekend is here again.
The days are cooling down, the hours of darkness getting longer. Summer will soon be officially over and done with for another year.

As a certain Mr Logan said, what's another year?

Good morning :hello:

10c at the Towers,
pleasant autumnal day outside...

been card sorting yesterday and now being posted..
I estimate just under 400:ohmy:
I'm pickling later and later on (me)..
am off to have a look around the plants,
it is amazing what regular deadheading does...
we have two pot roses, a Pretty Polly and a Ruby Anniversary and (apart from the regular black spot) bloom away nicely all summer.
Mrs M now in charge of that dept...

Mrs M wants an apple tree in a pot (using my b'day gift) so best off and have a shuffty....

It's still in double figures, temperature wise, don't worry.

Rather you than me posting that many cards. Your postman must love you, as many coming back.

Pickling ongoing still, yer've been slacking. Aside from yer "chocolate cake day", when you could do as little as you wanted to.

Now I never thought you'd put anything like that up for folk to listen to.

Quite possible my fave track..

apart from my Pogues love..
I do have Oirish blood in me veins..5 generations back(I tink;))
If I include me I'll be 6th
dunno how it works..
my dad, his dad, his dad , his dad, and his dad the one who came across... (oxford comma included)

T;was more that you posted the Sharon Shannon street version.

MacGowan was born down south, over here, if memory serves me correctly.

And does the Oirish blood ever fall out with your Scottish blood?

Doesn't everyone send the cards, if not your return will be fewer.
See you're using very light card these days.

I have sent 1,300 to 1,400..
there is an electronic version eQSL online plus main one for getting awards is run by ARRL in the US called LoTW, Logbook of the World, awards like DXCC (100 verified countries), rogues charge a pretty penny for their awards. Handy to keep an eye on your progress...

Why fall out with myself, I'd only have my beer hidden from me...
