The one I was in on Saturday looked worse than the old BR mk3 coach I was in the week before.

I remember when Arriva got the franchise from Virgin. I know quite a few of their drivers and there were a fair few of them that were very unhappy about working for a bus company. They still regret leaving Virgin, but at the end of the day they are paid and thats what it is all about.
The Virgin units are definitely better looked after. They are around 13 or 14 years old now and are showing it.
