A quick question, does a cummerband make you look fat?

I'm going to a black tie do tonight and my wife says they do, so obviously I'm not allowed to wear one.

I think they look spot on.

Don't forget, for the full effect you'll need to arrive in a Bentley, be really good at Baccarrat (Poker in films), speak with a Scottish accent and shoot anyone in a swivel chair with a cat on their lap.

Why don't they just decline the payment?
"Your account" now sits with them, whilst they watch for any further transactions on the account. If you're lucky, you'll have no direct debits or standing orders being paid out over the period that you don't have access to your account. As these will not be paid.
Luckily no DDs or SOs going out until the 6th. I am really hacked off though.

Halifax says that the account will carry on as normal, I just don't have a switch card until about Thursday which is not a problem as I can just transfer money from one account to another for the time being, using the card for my 2nd account. It's my 'works' account and cashflow is key. Even £28 suddenly vanishing towards the end of the month I can do without losing to robbing scumbags. I guess that it's just the climate we live in nowadays.
