I remember buying a load of wedding stuff from America (I didn't though).

You missed the apple juice and picnic^_^
Whilst everyone else is having a wee moan.my front wheel isn't too free running:sad:
That reminded me of a TT a couple of months ago. Although it was a bit windy I found the warm-up just too hard and started to think that I should pack the racing in. Got back to the start area and was doing my pre race bike check when I discovered one of my brake calipers had shifted during transport and had left a brake block rubbing - I was glad I'd noticed before my start time.

Card is now cancelled although they cannot do anything until the transaction goes through, it's 'pending' at the moment. When the transaction has gone through, Halifax will give me my money back and send me a form to fill in regarding the fraud. They are pretty good really. I had the same problem - different card, obviously - about 18 months ago when 4 orange phone cards went out. I am not with orange and I don't use phonecards. That was a lot more though.

Just out of interest. Does anyone know when my Pound sign lives on my Mac keyboard? I have a $ sign but that's not helpful. I used to know and now I've forgotten.

The boy is in bed asleep...not a good sign (it's one of his precursors for a CVS episode).
He has been complaining of pain in his jaw all week and the last 2 days I've had to give him paracetamol and brufen - hoping it's just a lack of sleep as hubby is going away with the car on Monday and I'll have no way of getting him to hospital - taxi drivers seem to disapprove of you taking a vomiting, semi-concious child in their cars!

Why don't they just decline the payment?
"Your account" now sits with them, whilst they watch for any further transactions on the account. If you're lucky, you'll have no direct debits or standing orders being paid out over the period that you don't have access to your account. As these will not be paid.
