Diwali - festival of lights - There was an event in London (Trafalgar Square) on the 27th Oct for this festival, I didn't attend, but it always surprises me just how varied London can be.

Smug mode... Leicester has the biggest Diwali celebration outside India. It really is very impressive, and the food is excellent.

Back from the shops. Would have been quicker if I hadn't had a sudden wobble about how much dog food I had left and grabbed a small sack "just in case". Including the 3kgs I carted home, there's now 5kgs of kibble in the cupboard
