I don't think I would be allowed to use superglue. Mr d thinks I am a a danger. Mainly to myself I might add. I would probably glue myself to something.

I am waiting for my new neighbours to move into the rental property next door. The previous family moved out a couple of days ago. They were fine; I hope whoever takes their place is too ...Some people are looking at the house opposite. They have been inside the house now for more than twenty minutes.![]()

Anyway, panic over - I have discovered that ...
- The lid of the Thermos mug just about fits the top of my huge Sports Direct mug
- My huge Sports Direct mug keeps tea hot when covered by a Thermos mug lid!

I've read that some citrus solvents can sort out superglue stains, and I have loads of citrus degreaser so I'll try that.If I had the money to splash out on acetone, I'd have bought another new mug in the first place!![]()
It seems that most of the heat goes out of the top, so you would have to design in an insulated flap.Let me know if you need a mug cosy knitting!
