I don't think I would be allowed to use superglue. Mr d thinks I am a a danger. Mainly to myself I might add. I would probably glue myself to something.

I am waiting for my new neighbours to move into the rental property next door. The previous family moved out a couple of days ago. They were fine; I hope whoever takes their place is too ...Some people are looking at the house opposite. They have been inside the house now for more than twenty minutes.

- Glue covering outside and inside of Thermos mug - CHECK!
- Glue staining wooden worktop - CHECK!
- Handle firmly glued back to mug - Er, not exactly ...
Anyway, panic over - I have discovered that ...
- The lid of the Thermos mug just about fits the top of my huge Sports Direct mug
- My huge Sports Direct mug keeps tea hot when covered by a Thermos mug lid!
I've read that some citrus solvents can sort out superglue stains, and I have loads of citrus degreaser so I'll try that.If I had the money to splash out on acetone, I'd have bought another new mug in the first place!
It seems that most of the heat goes out of the top, so you would have to design in an insulated flap.Let me know if you need a mug cosy knitting!
