I have had my own version of Plumberwatch.
Yesterday I finished installing the central heating pipework to my folk's granny flat and today I installed the radiators. The system has been tested and is working fine, except the diverter valve in the boiler has now packed up. I have a new one on order from Ebay. I have bodged it to hot water so they can wash and the electric heating (that Dad has insisted on using for the last 15 years) will stay on for a few more days.
I only managed to get the heating finished because yesterday Dad had a cold and was feeling the cold too. I took the chance to ask him if I could finish the heating as it will be warmer, and he said yes so I got on with it.
In other news I have sorted out my phone contract. Orange offered me a 12 month £8.25pm deal giving 1000mins, unlimited texts and 750mb data. That's good enough for me.
