Yesterday when I stopped at a village shop to buy more water, I locked my road bike up to a dog parking stand as there was no bike parking available.

That was the Governor of the island (ex rugby international as well), he spent almost half his working day with us. Proper gentleman he was.

Holiday. It just happened to be a convenient stopping point between New Zealand and California .
Mr Hop doesn't do lying on beaches, so it was rather convenient from my point of view. Not that we did any lying on beaches. I was too busy learning to snorkel
