It is worth a try otherwise just chuck it in the bin, I repair computers for a living and mostly it is not economical to repair netbooks but worth trying a few things as a last resort nothing lost if it doesn't work.

I love my nexus 7 tablet but if I want to type a lot I use my pc as touch screen keyboards suck.

You can get a Bluetooth keyboard but there are times when I just want to use a proper computer.

The little computer shop in Hebden Bridge has reconditioned netbooks for under £100 and our computer recycling charity organisation has laptops for about £100. I'm sure that you could get even better deals in York or Manchester!

Ugh! Mum arrived last night just after small people went to sleep so by the time she went I was even more zorsted so went to bed, and now the kitchen smells of cold thai curry as the fairys did not visit overnight and magically sort everything out - I shall be having words with them!
