Is this one of your usual routes then with @potsy and @ColinJ ?

No you wouldnt get potsy up there it is a route I do a couple of times a year as it helps me find out how well my fitness is coming on.

I did it earlier on this year and had to stop on that first big hill for a breather but this year I managed it no problem. Last year I bailed half way through as I had a lung infection and it took me about 2.5 hours to get home from Patley Bridge it was a bit of a nightmare.

It appears that @potsy's hill climbing legs were secretly ColinJ-powered ... Well, he doesn't appear to have tackled many hills since I last organised a forum ride in July 2012!

Just to show that he can get up hills when he wants to ...

(I was a long way back, down the hill, but I had the excuse of nursing undiagnosed near-fatal blood clots at the time! )
