I still haven't got the hang of it being called Snickers. What was it? '89 when they changed?
Out by a year. I didn't realise it had been so long. I mean I eat two Marathons the other night.

My mother was born in Cherry Burton (near Beverley) and grew up on a farm. She came to London when she was 17 to train as a nurse. When we were young, we used to spend the whole summer up in Yorkshire although I didnt visit the Dales till many years afterwards. In 1986, I did the Yorkshire Dales Triathlon which started in Semer Water and ended with a run up Pen-y-Ghent (with a hilly 42 mile ride in-between) and fell in love with the Dales. Mrs R and I got married in August 1987 and did the triathlon the day after the wedding (she won the women's race). We've been coming up here ever since. Over the years, I've walked the Pennine Way six times and I just love this part of the world. So, I feel like I'm an honorary Yorkshireman (with at least 50% of my blood being tyke)
Whats your time for the Theee Peaks Walk?
