I decided to start looking sort of westerly (ish), as there is significantly less light pollution in that direction. I think I also saw the ISS.

How long do you think it will take to put on a stone like Wiggo?
I reckon I can do it in a couple of weeks if I take it seriously

They were my dream car when I first passed my test, ford orion ghia, took me 3 years to afford to buy a crappy 2nd hand one

I was asking at work if we had any crab apple trees, as I fancy making jelly. We do apparently, tucked away in a corner.

But then on the way home, I actually looked at the trees alongside the bus lane past Morrisons:

Is it a crab apple? The apple looks right, but a quick google suggests the leaf is a bit rounder than a crab apple...

And no, I don't mean the pencil, that's there for scale!

Anyway, I just wolfed down a cornish pasty and some new potatoes crushed with lots of butter...

No I think your right , Crab apples are totally green and need another month before there ripe.

Can't beat a good cup of Assam though. I'm looking forward to one as on the way home finally. Tea soothes the mind and soul. But like hearing the world service or radio 4 when you are abroad , all is well when you have tea.

After that I'm cracking open the red !
