My house used to be like that, north facing half of a semi, and I used to joke that you had to put a warm coat on to come in. It is better now and the inside temperature, without heating, is about the same as outside now.
We do still have a warm area just outside the front door. The house is 'L' shaped and the door on in the inside corner of the 'L' so nicely sheltered.

I don't have 'heating', I have 'a heater' and that only does my all-in-one room upstairs (bedroom/lounge/office)!Well put the heating on then
The rest of the house is whatever temperature it is. It is an E-W facing mid-terrace house so it doesn't get a lot of solar energy to warm it up.

I'd like to watch these scandi dramas but listening to Mrs 26, posting on here and watching with subtitles is one step too many on the multitasking
