Talking of pigs and stitches, many moons ago one of my piglets managed to get in with the wrong sow, who did not welcome the intrusion and bit her quite savagely. I took her to the vet and then she lived in the kitchen for a while until she felt better. She was a bit confused at first. So was Snipe.

It might be something to do with sitting in my unheated office in shorts and a tee shirt...

Going to get some more clothes on and microwave my and hope no one notices me shivering.

It's quite warm here and I even had to take off my jacket when I was cycling. But I do have a few more clothes on than shorts and a tee shirt. would be good.

It was warmer earlier on, that's my excuse. Anyway I got fairly warm taking a car load of rubble to the tip.

What is it with some people? The tip, at the front of a long queue of cars, is not the place to reorganise the car seats and then valet the inside and outside of the car with baby wipes before setting off. Why can't they do all that after they have got home?
Last week there was an old chap who had to carefully fold all his bags, and then his blankets and dust sheets, and then carefully place each in the right place in the boot of his car before getting back in and having a play with the controls before setting off!

Anyway, I have just made a birthday card for my Mum. She will be 80 years old and still not looking a day over 50!

Red tissue paper for the petals and the ribbon and a bit of card rolled up and coloured with wax crayon for the stem.
Good thing I don't need to post it!

Phone rings and its a withheld number I dont usually answer them but as I was just sat here stuffing my face with cherries I thought I would:

Them: Good evening sir have you ever thought about changing your boiler
Me: No coz I dont have a boiler
Them: How about your windows and doors
Me: All done
Them: Gutters and Soffits
Me: Nothing wrong with them
Them: How about solar power
Me: Not interested ( I didnt tell them my brother sells and installs it so if I wanted it I would get it from him anyway )
Them: How about your Driveway
Me: Driveway is fine thanks
Them: Conservatory
Me: No room for one
Them: Ok fair enough

and off he went.

I was quite disappointed he didnt put up more of a fight
