The sun is out. We're going to Southport. The sea will be visible for once, as high tide is around midday.

Can we have some too? Not seen much of it for a while.

Nice here too! I have to go and pick up what (hopefully) might be my last Warfarin prescription later and might extend the trip into a decent stroll in the sunshine.

Couldn't find a chip shop that was open so after a stroll down the pier and back, and a bit of beach combing (where I collected shells and Arch collected cow bones) we find ourselves in McD's!

I would love to go out in the sun but my mum had a suspected stroke last night so I have spent most of the day at the hospital, had to come home to try to get rid of some of the mountain of jobs that are backing up.

Strokes are horrible things. I hope she recovers alright.

Thanks colin, unfortunatly she is still unconscious at the moment she has had a CT scan and is about to go down for an MRI scan so we will have to see what that finds.
