Right! Prizes* for those who can coax Evey to join the one of these. She's eager to get her new wheels out, but doesn't feel happy riding in London. She'd need an escort (of the Bromley Massif, rather than Ford variety) to get her there and back, and I'd be on babysitting duties.
Prize to be collected from TDT, in the form of her company for a few hours, not valid for exchange or refund if she proves to be poor company, although she would be hard pressed to be poor company among you lot...
Ian's offer sounds good. Usually he looks after the two wee laddies, The Sworks Bros. but, once they start comparing cable holes and how much bottled water weighs compared to tap water, they'll be nae bother...and 'New Year Evey' can be 'well protected'.
Now there's an incentive for me to get swop my
Sunday run for a ride (as long as food is included
).
I'll rock up when Evey does
That's good. You can run but you can't Hyde
Park. 'Pinkie' the 'cat might be on his new bicycle soon, and there are two very nice smaller bicycles to make yours feel 'at home'.
Ditto to Ian. Happy to ride over to yours to pick her up but not this weekend as I'm on call. Boo Hiss!!!
You sound like Stu...the boo hiss is infectious, or have you got Aspburgers?
I'm working this weekend, (probably the following too), but a similar trip to last weekend's, without the cable car
will be a nice safe circuit...particularly now we all know that the pre-Olympic View Tube entrance hasn't vapourised.
Now, if the effing 'Winterwonderlanders' would kindly get out of it, so that the SuMo Ride ttConveniences in The Public Hyde Park can be re-instated, that would be great! (Unless Dave brings his Rapha potty, of course...)
