A very dark variant of Holdsworth's kingfisher blue - perhaps the same as LouiseL's - if you've seen that. Cream or white panels with Roberts written in black.

Two. Captain and stoker.

S & S couplings?
Didn't notice any - that's not to say it didn't have them.

Other distinguishing features?
Disc brake to the rear. Black bar tape. Oval section to the tube which runs between the BB's - but I think that's not so unusual for tandems.

I was going to go out today Mart, but thought my legs need a good rest after Tuesday's exertions.

. So just spent and enjoyable couple of hours cleaning the bikes.

If you can make it to Whitehall before 4pm, mine could do with a bit of a clean!!!

May I point out (saintly hat on) that the Skyride is an opportunity to get new riders and also more cyclists to commute into work. It's a big thrill to do a lovely ride but far bigger thrill to enable someone else to be able to cycle.

Happy Belated Birthday young lady..

I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments and I did enjoy the 2 Skyrides that I did. However dragging a few cyclists up to town on a usual sunday cyclechat blast/ride would mean getting caught up with all the backed up traffic and the many of thousands of other cyclists hopefully enjoying themselves when we want to actually get somewhere.... the countryside it is.

Nice, Katie, - good words. I have to be in London early on Sunday and then Old St. I'll check the route this afternoon maybe. I suspect I'll wear my Bradley Wiggins lookalike outfit (as we're both about the same shape) and cruise out...

I am out this Sunday. Happy to meet at 8am but gotto be back by 1. Where you thinking of. Do you know any other 50 ish miler routes ?
