1st clipless moment... into a pile of horses poo.. ;-)
Which some of us missed due to Ian's legendary navigational skills......
Well done on your first ton Becs.. There's a 150 waiting for you on the Whitstable ride...........
It was Ian's legendary navigation skills that led to the ill-fated U-turn that resulted in the horse-poo crash! In fact I am holding Ian completely responsible! Not a bad week though, first 100K on Weds then first 100miles on Sat! Pootled down to HPC on a well-laden pub-bike this morning, now looking forward to a Sunday Roast!
If I make Whitstable it will be one way and pub only!
It was an armwarmer and buff morning ................
I left home late..ish went to the posh bit of hackney - highbury
wanted to do swains lane but time was against me, so headed over to hpc
to meet Becs
We pootled over to camden where she was meeting some friends and the weather got colder
i did a fast lap of regents park to warm up then headed towards the river passing Bentmikey hard at
work along the way
26 windy miles
(is the heating on yet?)
You'll do WhitstablebBecs.
Only if it's not raining and freakishly warm for October - I'm still cold now!
Maybe I could just get the train to the pub . . . .

We really, really, really have to build Swains into a Sunday ride soon..
Eeer.. no we don't.
Sunday London rides are for the flat Martin.
You wan't to do Swains Lane... then you can head up there yourself..
Come on, it wasn't that cold! And the ride home was positively equatorial
aint you supposed to be "the fittist bird" or someting?
