Sure but who's going to actively police it? It's not like you are downloading inappropriate images is it?

The companies whose T&C you are breaching. Which probably means nobody.

The sensible and moral way to do it would be for there to be a subscruption model where you say which sports you want and you get chanrged at a rate based on what it costs to broadcast it

Amateur football - much less

SO Premier League where they have to pay loads to get the license and have several famous presenters ===> a lot of money

pro sailing which not many people watch but costs a lot to put on - runs at something in between

Carlton commentating on some unknown pro race in Romania - then a couple of quid

Ok - a bit facetious - but you see what I mean

but that would make screwing money out of innocent enthusiasts difficult

In my quest to find ad free, English language commentary of Paris-Nice, l found out that Hannah Walker was doing the international feed. Solo too, it seemed.

Where did you find the international feed available?
I'm watching on SBS which is fine.
Hannah Walker was commentating solo on their coverage of something the other week and she was quite good, although I thought she could be better with a fellow commentator to bounce off.

You can tell the difference between a Limey a Wallaby and a Kiwi:
We say: Sex, fish and chips.
The Wallaby's say: Six, fish and chips and
The Kiwi's say: Sux, fush and chups.

'Tis true really. When they (Warner bros./Discovery) sent me a survey after cancelling, I got an email telling me all the exciting sports I was going to get - Boxing, some football, world tiddly winks, UFC... I don't want any of the above, I want the cycling you silly fokkers. Maybe it's an extension of the Americanism "Do you like sports?". It's one of those questions you don't want in a court of law. I don't like all sports, just some. "Is that yes or a no?".

The interesting TV stations are regional European stations that clearly welcome English viewers even by VPN . They have free to view broadcast English adverts .. [tour of] Algarve Andalucia and Murcia the local stations broadcast English ads mixed in with native ones ..this wasn't targeted ads.
