I now get D+ as an add on to my mobile bill. I reckon it costs no more than a tenner a month so I’m happy with that. I do feel people need to accept cycling coverage is unlikely to ever GCN type prices again.

It’s not the fact that GCN prices are a thing of the past, it’s the fact that people are expected to accept football prices as the new norm.
When cycling tv rights also cost billions, I will consider paying £31 a month to watch.

NordVPN - just for a month as a trial. Seems fine so far. Watching Paris-Nice via a French connection but depending on the broadcaster, you may need to create an account and turn-off any ad blockers. Just feeling my way at the mo - seems okay so far. If you want english commentary, may have to use stream based in say Australia or New Zealand etc.

SbS Australia is a tough nut to crack via VPN . Haven't had problems with any other . Sporza vrt and France 3 are best . Sporza ad free ... Surprising number of small races are not geo restricted .
I wonder if there are any stats around - or will be soonish - about the number of people on TNT a few months ago v. now

in other words how many people have actually moved across as a result of the change

probably lost in a swamp of data including all sort of other stuff

but if anyone sees anything - please let us know

Someone on BR. Said 85% of UK subs on disco had unsubbed

Yeah, I don’t think £30 pcm is acceptable, but I’ve seen people refuse £15 pcm. I think that’s about the amount it should cost. We all will have our own thresholds … I get that .

What problems are you having with getting in to SBS?

Europeans watching for free say hi.

The UK is getting fleeced because so many people here were willing to pay WB/GCN, even long after the WB strategy of hoovering up all the rights and then ransoming them was pretty obvious.

In my quest to find ad free, English language commentary of Paris-Nice, l found out that Hannah Walker was doing the international feed. Solo too, it seemed.

Still wondering what to do. £30 per month is more than i think the coverage is worth. Not sure of the VPN route, i would bite at £10 per month but have not seen that offering.
