It's nice to watch cycling, but I'm not enough of a fan to care when I do have access to it, I often just had it on in the background whilst doing something else, so not having access has made little difference to me, I was just about ok paying £6 a month, but the price increase was too much for background noise.

While I quite enjoyed it, the absolute maximum I would pay would be a tenner a month. No way I would entertain thirty.

My thoughts exactly, the only difference, I have never paid to watch it.

I watch a lot at the moment as I work from home so have a race running on one screen whilst working on another. Cycling is good for just dipping in whilst doing other stuff. Even with that and being able to watch rugby I really couldn’t justify £31 per month. Even amongst all the other subscription services it looks like bad value.

Nord VPN with sporza nos and Rai gets you everything .. France 3 has good stream quality . Small local Spanish stations are not geo restricted nor is Dubai sports TV covering mid east . £94 for two years . Cheaper than disco

If you look at the cost of stuff in the US then £31 a month is far from exorbitant by their standards.
Discovery is actually 'Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc.'. So the move upwards towards the parents US prices was no great surprise.
Broadband, Mobile and Streaming in the US are all, on the whole, big cartels.

The trouble with dodgy Firesticks is that you only get the linear channels, which, with Disco being a US company, means endless ad breaks, often at the worst possible time.
Basically it’s ITV 4s tour coverage.

Yes - me to - and it would have been without Eurosport being killed off

but then what - is the question

A VPN comes in handy as long as you don’t mind foreign language commentary, ad free coverage of races such as Paris-Nice. VRT 1 in Belgium has coverage of all the Spring classics. It’s where Sporza hangs out.
Not an ad break in sight, nor any hysterical hyperbole to make one’s ears bleed.
I was very lucky. I got Surfshark VPN for 5 Euros for the year!

I now get D+ as an add on to my mobile bill. I reckon it costs no more than a tenner a month so I’m happy with that. I do feel people need to accept cycling coverage is unlikely to ever GCN type prices again.
