As long as I breathe, I attack.
Got Strade Bianche streaming free on SBS On Demand with a VPN connected to Australia on my TV.
Took a while to get it working, had to install web browser app onto TV, as SBS app on Google Play store was geo blocked even on VPN.
Tried three browser app and only one would work.

When someone works out a way to do this would it be worth putting a guide together even if it's over pm to keep the details out of public searches just in case big brother is watching?

Create a second Google account with your VPN set to Aus & you'll be able to download the SBS app from the Play Store.

Have also just watched Strade Bianche - cost £10 for the month and hopefully also watch Paris - Nice which starts tomorrow.

Have you done that?
Everything I read suggested it wasn't that simple.

Yes - it looks like a Google account's geolocked to the location where it's created - the SBS app wasn't available when logged in to my original UK account. I'm using a Chromecast with Google TV & have installed a vpn app on that - I set my location to Australia, created a new Google account, and then the app was available. I did have to manually search for it myself on the Play Store - the Chromecast's search function didn't find it. Just watched Strade Bianche using it, vpn set to Australia.

On which platform?

Read the article: https://www.cyclist.co.uk/in-depth/how-to-watch-cycling-for-less-in-the-uk and scroll down to VPNs. Four options are listed (but there are many more available). Just check prices and maybe select 1 month as the duration option initially. If you can watch Paris - Nice, then you should be able to watch the TDF. Also, search online for free streaming options re the races - as this will give you a heads up on the broadcaster(s) and country etc.

I know how to do it, I was asking which platform you're using?

Okay - I use an Apple Mac and the browser is Google Chrome if that helps.

Obviously the commentary is going to be in Italian, isn't it. I quite like having in on in the background as I work, occasionally listening to Carlton's warblings and Sean Kelly's pronunciations.

If that's the case, either use the Australian SBS option - which will have commentary in English, via a VPN or pay the TNT paywall of £31 a month
