Well I think its passing winds are down to 38mph from a peak of 54mph but it a bit more constantly wet compared to yesterday. I took the decision yesterday to leave a bike on the turbore in my front hall rather than prepping one for a ride and that was probably the right choice as I can't be bothered cleaning a bike.

It's worth remembering that few yers ago national grid brought out a national number to report power cuts. No matter which area you live in.
It's also easy to remember just phone 105.

It's been hosing with rain here all day. Things are decidedly squelchy. The wind has dropped markedly, but I fear it is too late for some of my parsley, which I suspect might well be dangling from the steeple of Streatham's church by now. I *did* manage to catch my sage bush before it blew away.

No idea about any fainting trees. It's been too wet to venture much further than the garage.

Almost no wind here. Our distance from the sea and lots of mountains are protecting us. Rain is forecast tomorrow but barely a millimetre. As I'll be cycling during work, I expect it'll start at 09:45 and finish at 10:15...

It's been moderately and steadily raining most of today with reasonable winds, but rain stopped a few hours ago and the wind has subsided a lot. Its a actually quite mild out, sat in the kitchen with the back door wide open.

Was having a look at Flightradar earlier and a Ryanair flight had a few problems in the wind - a couple of go-arounds and long holding patterns. Eventually they gave up and headed back to Frankfurt
