A red warning here between 11pm to 3am tomorrow. Very heavy rain earlier but it all seems calm at the moment.

I decided against a planned night out as I didn't fancy walking home if it's as bad as forecast.

I believe there was flooding elsewhere in the town, probably heavy rain at high tide.

I'm in the red area as well. I can hear the wind getting up now.

I'm just annoyed that they keep missing my name, beginning with C when they name these storms. I thought they did the full alphabet in order, not missing any letters out apart from hard to find X, Y and Z names. 🤔 I suppose I should be grateful the last one was called Bert which was my dad's name. Why didn't they call this one beginning with the letter D storm @Drago!! 🧐

It's fairly quiet here. We have a fairly gusty wind and on and off rain, but nothing much else. Though as I look through my kitchen window I can see a plastic bag has blown into the communal garden which no doubt muggings here will have to shift, while the others will just step over it!!🧐

I've slept right through to 6am and it's still blowing up strong. Only Amber for us but it sounds quite bad. I'll probably have to clean up after the wheely bins later. Hopefully that's all.

This Mornings dog walk title: tells you Storm Darragh (Like everything else remotely interesting) has mostly avoided Suffolk so far…..
