Not too much snow here in NE Essex, maybe 5cm. I'm planning to cycle into Uni (6 miles), mainly because it's a campus uni so I imagine most of the students will be there (they can't blame the snow for being unable to walk 100 metres to the lecture room, surely?) On the other hand, if I get there and everything's cancelled, it'll have been a bit of a mega effort for nothing!

I think I shall take my camera to get some nice snowy scenes.

Blimey...some great snow shots there - much more than Manchester (for now)

Still got a couple of days hols left, so they may just come in useful this week

We've got maybe half an inch here. Ms RT has to get from Abergavenny to Sandy in Bedfordshire on the train later today, though, and she's going via London, which seems to have ground to a halt.
 
Couple of inches in Derby, but main roads mostly clear IME this morning. It does look like more snow on the way though, and as I said on the commuting thread, if it stays and freezes overnight, won't be nice to ride on tomorrow.

Snowing in Cheltenham now and the local radio said that some trains weren't running.

Half a millimetre of coverage in Bristol so far but it is getting heavier.

Shall be off back oop north in a bit in my car with no heater... Wish me luck!

(And before you ask, yes I shall be wearing a vest)

We've got 6-8 inches and it's still snowing here. Mrs rich p has works in deepest Sussex so she's unable to get in. I'll think about walking in to work after a cup of coffe.

Sat here playing on this.Looking out of the window.Snow glently falling.Sky beginning to darken.The trees look wonderful.Our spare bit of land.A small woodland area looks magical.And there is a numpty clearing a driveway.Oh it's the WIFE.Ha ha not me this time not got to put pressure on knee.More snow coming down very fast now WIFE still out shovelling.Should i tell her to stop?
