The ones that annoy me are the idiots that pass at zero inches with a loud hello just as they disappear into my mirror blind spot. FFS if they were passed by a car like that they'd be reporting them to the police or posting videos on Utube.

Wish i actually met other cyclists on a regular basis, in the last month i have only met 4 cyclists all going the other way and not one of them said hello!

As people disappear into the distance my only real thought is "40 years ago I could do that".

I have started to use basic clear instructions when scalping little old ladies on mobility scooters or mummies pushing their prams around. I've found a simple "passing on the right - thanks" is enough of a call out to make sure everyone is safe and understands my intentions.

I don't normally take any notice of who or how many overtake me. But, one bloke was really rubbing my nose in it when he wooshed past me. After exchanging a - "Good morning, lovely weather etc". and as the distance between us was increasing by the second, he only sat up straight, and with no hands on his bars, pulled his jersey up over his head, rolled it and shoved it in his back pocket.
We both had a laugh when I yelled at him that he was "just plain showing off now"

i passed a mountain bike rider the other day! first in a good few weeks! had a good chat with him for a few hundred yards then sped off!

Ha Ha, on a 8 mile strech of road, i noticed a fair way behind me another cyclist, then a few mins later noticed the cyclist was getting closer. Of course I put my foot down and lost him, got home to find a strava PB and 3rd overall. woo

If a cyclist is going slower than me, I will overtake where it is safe. If the cyclist has a lower food chain number, then I will move in for the kill.
