If you mention in an application that it's your actual form of day to day transport they have a different view.
Turned up for the interview on mine, having said how long it'd be before I could be there.

Got the job, by virtue of having actually cycled there("put the effort in to make it" as the person interviewing me said).

They didn't expect me to turn up the following morning though.

I've never been asked this sort of thing. Is it common in an interview in the English speaking world?

To be honest.

It might sway my decision, if there was nothing else in it.

But then I need folks who are 'fit' for the job.. :bicycle:

I'd imagine it would definitely help, if you were applying for a job as a cycle courier... :blink:

I've a relative who works in a high flying job in HR* in the UK and from her descriptions of interviews there, the methods used are very different to what I've experienced here.

*Or at least she did before losing her job because of Brexit.
