All I ever said was buy gloves that fit. Anywhere else, that would be seen as logical. On here, that's trolling....

Maybe if you got a short piece of wood or pipe abou the same diameter as your handlebars (maybe a bit of broom handle), then went into a shop and tried a few pairs on, gripping your bit of "handlebar" with them, you could judge not only the fit but also whether the padding is too thick. Or maybe try on a pair of gloves and sit on one of the shop's bikes that's similar to yours and see how it goes using the gear levers/brake levers and so on.

If you have a bit of material on the back of the gloves to wipe your sweaty brow, that's useful. If there's a light coloured or reflective patch on them that shows up when you are doing hand signals, and/or at night, so much the better. If Gore-ex or similar is included in the material that's a plus, as is having stretchy material on the back.

I bought some Exteondo mitts recently, they were half price, and these are the first gloves that feel as though they were designed by someone who rides a bike with padding in the right place and good sweat wiper. I have had gloves with gel pads totally unrelated to the anatomy of the hand or how you hold the handlebars but these are excellent. I bought size medium as they didn't have any 42's.:okay:
