As well as all the cool stuff in my collection I'll admit to having a few jazz records.

And why not?
We have an eclectic mix (this morning we had Thomas Tallis on, the other evening we listened to a program about the Beastie Boys), but Jazz is the genre in the collection which is growing fastest and that we listen to most. Like all music it's a broad-church, am certain everybody can find something they like within (though get a bit pissed when people say 'ooo I don't get/like Jazz).
Recorded for the Telly-box we have Oil City Confidential, and Miles Davis Birth of the Cool. Both equally enjoyable in my book....

Nowt wrong with some Satchmo or Ella, you've reminded me I've got folder on the computer called Smooth Jazz, I haven't played it for ages, I shall have to have a listen later.

Every search has thrown similar results up. Even asking got similar answers.

I thought it was probably that. On the test I score high end for Asperger's which wouldn't surprise my wife; her training and experience was focused on people with Autism, and she's often said I show a lot of symptoms.

Maybe worth investigation.

However, we're getting off the topic of Jazz; oh, wait...

The most interesting thing on this thread is the Jazz discussion, its a Genre I have difficulty with, I love some of it, but the free form stuff I don't understand, they all seem to be playing something completely different to each other it soon becomes unlistenable to (by me)

As a nod to the thread I do like St James Infirmary played in a New Orleans jazz funeral style as an entrance to the Crematorium for my funeral.
