I suppose we'll all remember to our dying day, where we were, what we were doing when she passed away.🤔
I’m not disrespecting the Royal Family, but I’m not a royalist and didn’t really know much about what she achieved as it hasn’t really had any direct impact on me; always felt the family to be pomp and circumstance, hand shaking diplomats etc for the last three decades of her life; serving her country etc…. I’m unlikely to remember the day of her death and when/where and what I was doing unlike say a close family relation as I’m indifferent to it all.
I totally get that the older generation will have a bigger connection having likely seen her marry, ascend the thrown and convert from reigning countries to serving the commonwealth countries over the years.
Each to their own really.
The BBC is for everyone, and that means people who don't really care about the Royal family or the Queen. This is the schedule for ALL of BBC radio, seems a bit overkill to me ?

I wonder which firm/funeral directors will get the job, or as I suspect, these things will have been planned years ago. Surely it has to be the most prestigious job in the funeral trade.🤔
