I've no clue it is on a work computer. I do not watch or listen to any news if can help it. No TV etc. It caught my eye when I knocked the mouse and it moved the cursor over an icon I don't use because it has news feeds on it.

Sorry, it was a poorly worded general comment on how internet algorithms poison modern discourse, not intended to be aimed at you personally.

But how am I going to find out how the other lot view things if I don't have the aggregation sites to trick me onto accidentally visiting the daily mail? Won't I just end up in a guardian and independent echo chamber believing any comment I read if it is free?
😆

Just had to buy some marker paint at work. Red red out due to city fan. Blue was out due to Liverpool fan. I got green. I don't think we have any rangers fans here.

Some radical neerdowell actually suggested that instead of physically queuing for 2 days, people who wanted to pay their respects in person could submit their request online and be given a time/date to turn up with minimal queuing time with special access for disabled, and if oversubscriibed some kind of first come or random lottery. Madness.
Government website crashes
Perhaps not that good an idea, they would have it sorted out by early October.

I've been trying to block a lot of dodgy sites that come up on the news aggregation sources like bing or Google news.
Both bing and Google seem to be displaying a new monarchist news category each on UK users' homepages that is a recent addition and can't yet be removed (except for certain unusual add-ons). These topics have quickly become top targets for many types of scammers.

The young girl was 'plucked from the crowd' by The Princess Of Wales to lay her Corgi soft toy (from WH Smith, sold at the time of the Platinum Jubilee) on a makeshift memorial to The Queen.
At Sandringham, where people have been asked to stop leaving toys and other non-compostables? I'm shocked to see the royals not lead by example and follow the rules they set for others.
