Both not too far from the southern parts of the route. 6th April sounds a bit on the early side for camping, though if the weather's warm enough I'll happily sleep in a ditch anywhere.

I mooted them in chat last night. No one bit. I think my accommodation finding skills have been blacklisted after the New Inn.

The camper's alright for me, but I'm not sharing it with a dozen (other) sweaty, snoring, farting cyclists - you lot have got to sleep somewhere!
I'm happy to share with a bunch of grumpy old snorers but there does need to be a place for serious alcohol abuse nearby. Is there a location map on the betwseco place?
Oh, is Betwys the name of a village? I thought it was the landlady's name.

Bettws Lodge looks perfect to me. We could start /finish the ride there , theres a pub /shop in the village and Bridgend Town isnt far away.
This is just round the corner, described in one of the pub guide things as "a real drinkers pub with fun staff" I suppose I have to reccy the pub first and if that meets approval then maybe have a look at the bunkhouse.

Where's your sense of adventure, a real life Fawlty Towers and it had 3 stars on Trip Advisor, two more than we need.
