I'd be up for this if possible. In a former life I've done long hilly rides in the Valleys but nothing for quite a few years so this would really give me something to aim for.

I feel obliged to warn you, that you'll need to get in some serious training for the ride.

Start off with two pints of Guinness a day

and by the time of the event, you should be 'up to speed' . . . and able to keep up with Cheshire Celt, Luke'sDad, Banjo and RichP.
