Sounds like perfect preperation to me ^_^ Where the hell do you find 25 flat miles round your way??

Seriously though be great to meet you, turn up meet the crew and ride as much or as little of the route as you like.

The old coal canal got filled in years ago to make the main road. Flat pretty much from Ystradgynlais to Swansea. ;) I do live half way up a hill so can either go up to start or up to finish if I go the flat route though I mainly do the side roads as they are quieter and prettier.

I will be there at some point on the ride just so I can go to a cafe/pub and have cake! ;)

I've done a lot of work to the focus since October carbon wheels bars post stem lighter seat and in the middle of up grading to sram red bike weights 7-5 kg now

Does that include the kilogram of tablet ?

I need to get the Speedster out of mothballs.Really enjoy riding the Jamis but its a bit of a weight to get up hills.

Im hoping that a winter of riding a 29lb bike will make riding a 20 lb bike feel like flying ^_^ Will miss the soft landings provided by the 32c tyres though.

Definitely putting the brooks B17 back on the speedster though, thats one bit extra of weight I dont mind.
Lol one of my colleagues picked up my steel fixie and reckoned 'wow its light' its slightly heavier than 29lb and its 23mm tyres dont give any cushioning

I found it a bit easy last time so I've put on a few pounds, drunk to excess and hardly ridden the bike, to make it more of a challenge.

You can keep me company at the back then Rich. I have done some riding over the winter but have also put on a few pounds and drunk more than is ideal for athletes like us trained to the peak of physical perfection.Think I need a lie down.

I've countered the winter pounds by making the bike lighter lol
