I need the balance of the lodge money soon so I can pay the lodge .Total cost for the 2 nights is £24 per person so if you paid me the £10 deposit please now send another £14 as the final payment. I would really like it all in by the end of the month please.From the lodge website group bookings need paying 4 weeks in advance.

Rode round the route today. The dodgy cattle grid on Heol Senni road is now replaced with a shiny new one, no other problems on the route except lots of it is uphill and my fitness isnt great at the moment . Its about 150 kms in all.

Couple of cafes in Treorchy that looked good I just got coffee and breakfast roll from Greggs.
Pub in Ystradfellte is no good for us,trhey require a booking time and deposit for groups, Plenty of pubs/cafes down in Pont Nedd Fechan and Glyn Neath. The Angel has a good name and they are used to tribes of walkers so should be ok with us.

Biting Easterly wind seemed to be in my face which ever way the bike was pointing encountered some ice on the dark side of the Devils Elbow surprisingly.

Looking forward to doing the group ride,far better than a billy no mates ride.

It was odd quid return when I looked a few months ago from Scotland to Cardiff, it's over three times that now!! I'll have a look again tonight as it was late when I looked and it was just a quick check...

Cheers, but after my train journey last time I am never, NEVER, using a train again. EVER. I'd rather walk...on my hands...with nails stuck in them...covered in diseases.

I have sent a PM to everyone I know of that wishes to use the lodge accomodation asking for balance of money. If anyone is thinking of using the lodge but hasnt told me yet please let me know and send money soonest as I will make the final payment and confirm numbers to the lodge end of this month.

I am Looking forward to it now. See You in April.
