Recurring Dreams

Didn`t realise how much I hated my last house (long story), last night I had a dream that I lost at cards and ended up living back there again, I was bloody suicidal!!

When I woke up the relief was amazing and I was so happy! I`ve had this before, losing my home at cards and ending up somewhere hideous, must mean I like where I live.................

Can anyone else control their dreams? If I go to sleep thinking about a "storyline" I'll dream about something based around the subject or circumstances. What is even weirder is the following nights the storyline will develop until it's completed

I do also have normal dreams but this is quite rare.

I have a dream that I can control about once every 4 months. The control doesn't last for long though, maybe only a few minutes. The most positive thing though is that, when faced with some sort of monster thats' trying to chase/kill me, instead of running I know just attack it. Often I bite it's head off, or breath fire and melt it. I think this means that in real life I feel more confident in resolving issues

Lots of dreams about losing teeth and going to dentists to shove them back in. Apparently, according to dream interpretation blurb, this is a sign of not being in control of one's life.

I had a dream last night that I was wearing contact lenses (which I did used to wear), but they were the size of my palm and I had to try and fit them into my mouth. They were solid glass ones so it was quite a squeeze.

Why would you shove contact lenses into your mouth (as against your eyes).

No idea but as is the norm with dreams, it seemed normal at the time

In last nights dream I killed the terrorists, defused the IED atom bomb, and rescued the princess Vorderman.

Two for me , one when I was maybe 12, I dreamed several times I was in a quarry or similar, trying to escape a rolling ball of rock bigger than me. Had that one several times.
Then as a young father I had a few where one of the kids was in a whirlpool, spinning round, getting slowly further away and I could never reach them. There was no bad ending but I used to hate those ones, I'd wake up and not be able to sleep for hours after.

Glad to hear others have strange dreams. My most recurring theme is being at Trade Fair type environment and strange ( as in weird ) hotels and similar places as well as transport mainly but not all by van. People are those I know ( or knew ) alive or dead. Disconcerted recently by being wakened by a female sounding voice calling my name. I live alone and there was obviously nobody else there.
