Dammit, if I'd known the rain was going to hold off for this long, I'd have gone out for a ride on my fauteuil électrique (Mod Translation: electric chair???) this morning instead of making a start on the year-end accounts. Still, just had a nice salad lunch with some spectacular wild garlic pesto made by a friend.

Afternoon.
Dull start but lovely now. Washed my car, now to tackle the wife's with assistance of daughter that has finally got out of bed.
Bought myself a microfiber noodley car mop thing on a stick. Seems to work well and is rather quick.
Much coffee and tea has been consumed so far today.
Will squint at Boat Race now and then too.

Just started raining here now. Have made a decent start on the accounts, did a minor repair on the chimney where it was leaking in the winter, and have got it ready to sweep when I feel like it. Won't have to do any cooking tonight, as it's yesterday's haute cuisine pasta dish ready to microwave.

Glad I went out riding early afternoon as the rain arrived on cue, then absolutely tanked it down late afternoon.

A cool and damp morning was had helping marshal my running clubs spring event. Followed by a few beers in a local spoons with said club members. Luckily escaped before it got messy with time to walk the pooch and go for a nice relaxing pootle on the gravel bike. Now just relaxing with a beer whilst getting stuff ready to fight tomorrow's weather. Enjoy.
