Ah, but the OP says you need to be a CTC member to log in  There is no CTC.

I think it needs renaming 'sandal wearing cycling club'.

Sandals with socks!

It was interesting how the BC and Team Sky success of the post 2011 era impacted the perception of cycling amongst non-cyclists and led to an increase in people entering the sport.

People entering the sport/activity is ultimately what changes public attitude as more of them become us. In this respect returning to a proper funding of grassroots to pro racing, from youth teams to a British led World Tour team would likely have more impact than anything else.

Quick reality check:
The budget for Team Sky alone (so ignoring grassroots) was 38million.

And show me how that money helped us reach Dutch levels of cyclists on our roads.

@PhilipBenstead007, why do they feel the need for the rebrand after so short a time?

Maybe looking at the reasons they have for doing this will give them an idea of where and why the last rebrand failed. Also why many didn't renew their memberships last time.

Jon Snow stepped down as president of the CTC in 2020. Your edited, to include the piece on page 12, post shows how out if touch Cycling UK is.

Perhaps those at the head of the organization could set an example to other cyclist.

Riding on the right hand side of the road.
Great example being set! Reclaim the streets! (Unless there's oncoming traffic or an island with a ↙️ that's probably legal, plus we can't see the nearside kerb to know if that's "on the right" or merely central on a narrow street.)
