Fresh squid is probably better done for a minute or so in a hot pan. If not fresh, I'd slow cook it. An hour is probably enough. Maybe Google some recipes
I'll go for the slow cook one, done on high in my slow cooker. I'll keep checking it to see if it's tender. I'll taste some from the cooker and if it's ok i'll keep it in, but if it's I'll pick it out and see if my mutt wants it. If he doesn't I'll put it out for the stray cats tomorrow.
