Fresh squid is probably better done for a minute or so in a hot pan. If not fresh, I'd slow cook it. An hour is probably enough. Maybe Google some recipes

I'll go for the slow cook one, done on high in my slow cooker. I'll keep checking it to see if it's tender. I'll taste some from the cooker and if it's ok i'll keep it in, but if it's xx( I'll pick it out and see if my mutt wants it. If he doesn't I'll put it out for the stray cats tomorrow.

Thinking about scary squid, as children we'd eat cockles in vinegar with a cocktail stick when on holiday or days out in Blackpool, Morecambe or Fleetwood. Cockles were ok, but mussels in vinegar! xx(

One for the chaps here. When you buy a pack of underwear from a shop/supermarket etc, like I did yesterday, do you just wear them straight from the packet. Or do you wash them before wearing them? 🤔

Wear them for 3 weeks then wash by hand in cold water for 5 minutes......should be fine then.

But
Seriously....I have alway worn directly from the pack.

The lace will chafe you unless softened by washing.

I quite like the occasional Heinz Tomato " Cup a Soup ". It's actually got a fair amount of Tomato in it, whereas a lot of packet soups are mainly flavoured potato starch. What mystifies me is that with every carton of four sachets that I've purchased, if you open the box with the labelling the correct way up, the labelling on the individual sachetss is upside down 🙃🤔

A bloke brought some old clothes, including skimpy negligees into the retro clothing shop I work in today. I must say I did get quite excited!

Many years ago Mrs TKK's mum used to be manageress of an " Age Concern " shop in a quite well to do area of Poole. ( It was called " Help the Aged " at the time iirc )
She used to put various larger items of ladies clothing and shoes to one side for " her boys " , and would open the shop in the evening for an hour or so on occasion so they could browse.

Have you considered exploring the ‘Dull Men’s’ Club’ on Facebook?
