Good thinking. You'll probably clean up.

I bought 5 wooden coat hangers yesterday, when it was Accrington Wilko's last day of trading.

I'm now wondering whether to just hang clothes on them as intended, or keep them in the wrapper and sell them on fleabay in a few weeks time for a 'ton'?🤔 I couldn't sell the clothes brush as I used it when I got home. :okay:

Goldfish and ant eggs for food. Why?! When as children we fed our various breeds goldfish on dried ant eggs, later moving to Tetra Fin https://www.tetra-fish.com/products/nutrition/tetrafin-plus-goldfish-flakes.aspx, I often thought why would a water based creature eat a dried up, land based creature's eggs. I remember tapping the round ant egg cardboard box (That's another question. Can boxes be classed as a box when round(ed)?🤔) to drop a few ant eggs into our goldfish tank and watching them eat the eggs. Maybe ants are similar to water based goldfish/carp natural habitat food? 🤔

Yes, I think they are similar to some things they would eat naturally, but is is also fairly common for freshwater fish to eat things that fall into the water, or low flying insects even just above the water.

And yes, boxes can most certainly be round, or any other shape. Basically, if it is a container with a lid that can be opened and closed (including by taking off and putting back on), then it is a box.

It is quite common to make boxes on a lathe, and of course those are always round.

Why are (were?) ant pupae marketed as ant 'eggs'?

You can also get things like bloodworms for them to eat too.

Leave them in your wardrobe for a few months and there will be another five.

I bought some diced squid tonight. It was reduced in price, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll put in in a slow cooker mainly vegetables meal. My question is how long will it take to cook? I've read this.....

'But squid is also tricky because there are only two ways that it's good: either cooked for just a couple minutes so that it's still tender, or slow-cooked for at least 30 minutes, which will return it to tenderness. Anything in-between and you'll feel like you're chewing on rubber'.

....but I'd like to hear your personal experiences of cooking squid. 🤔

I don't want it raw and jelly(ish) xx(, but on the other hand I don't want it chewy and rubbery.🧐 Like chicken would be nice! Is that possible? 🤔

Wait at least a month and they’ll be worth 40p each. Then you can make your killling.

I have had squid once but it was so long ago I can't remember what it was like, but I suppose the fact I've only ever had it once tells us something about what I thought of it.

I have had it reasonably often in different forms.

It isn't strongly flavoured, so if you have whole squid, having them stuffed is a good way to eat them. Cut into rings and battered as calamari is one of the most common ways.

With diced squid, I would put it in something like a risotto, or as part of a pasta dish.
