For quite a few years, I've owned a small plate, the origin of which is a mystery to me.

The only words are 'Art and Science'; at the centre, there appears to be a spindle of wool.

Sorry, probably stating the obvious.
Also, with the sheep, possibly Welsh or from the north of England, but is that a piece of wood? Is it thread? Or is it both, like a spindle or similar?
If so, are we talking about the mills of the north of England?... Or even something to do with Tweed in the Hebrides of Scotland or similar?
You also have a Shetlandic flag as your avatar (I know they are not in the Hebrides before anyone points that out) so...? 🤔

By default, "New posts" only shows you threads which have posts you haven't read, while "Recent" posts includes ones you have read.

But why do drivers of Fiat 500',s appear to be psycho homicidal maniacs intent on smearing me on the road?

Numourous times I've been at risk of being cut up, tailgated ,close passed by these idiots, yesterday I was out on my motor Scooter 🛵 , and nearly got T-boned by some delirious scally jumping a red light, not me guv, I looked before I pulled away on my green light.....

Just an observation.....other nerks do the same, but oft as not it's the Fiat 500 transgression.
