Two recently: one from Basingstoke which missed the connecting train at Salisbury, and one from Exeter where, because of roadworks in front of the station, they'd hidden the bus round the back, but not told anyone. The driver was just battening the hatches when we arrived.

I've recently had this one for real. And it did chill the blood a bit............ Have you got permission to do that?

And tonight for England we have Harry Kane and Harry MaGuire starting......

'UNPACKING' .... i was on a corporate webinar this afternoon and that sodding phrase was used to death. No one will say 'we just don't know'
but doesn't 'unpacking' mean to take something down to basics so we cna understand it better

or am I being naive in thinking that words should be used in meeting to mean what they mean
rather than used to mean what the presenter is wanting them to sound like they mean - i.e. marketing:eek:

It seems to be the current trend on TV at the moment, Nadiya Hussein is a particularly extreme example.
