I have a license but can't drive as I haven't done the CPC scam
I don't work at all, feel free not to assume anything. It's classic33 that works for supermarket.I didn't mention soft toilet tissue and would anyone really disagree that flour is a basic food? Do you work for a supermarket? That might explain why you seem to think that people should be happy with the vast amounts of chocolate, crisps and biscuits that they've kept aisles full of throughout. That's good enough for us plebs, innit(?)
It's not just flour, though, is it? At times, everything from beans and rice to bananas and tomatoes have been missing.
And it's not that they haven't got everything in stock. It's that they're handling the shortages so badly, claiming stock they've not got and allowing bulk buying of shortage items.
No, we're not starving, but is "you're not dieing" really good enough service from the supermarkets?
I hope you don't mean one toilet roll per person! Its 8 miles to the shop, I suppose with a household of one, once a week would do me.......just!the supermarkets should be limiting it to one item per person (not 3) on essentials, like the toilet paper and hand wash.
I’m a lorry driver, I have COPD and am self isolating for 12 weeks. Ok I’m on my own in a lorry whilst driving but that’s it. I work for Royal Mail, the distribution depot I work in has 1000 staff over 3 shifts in a 24 hr period. Sorters, dock workers, drivers etc all working in close proximity. Then when I get to the delivery offices (6 every morning) I have posties helping me unload plus a stream of posties walking into work by the side of my lorry as I unload. If you say on average 100 posties per office per day walking in to work that’s a lot of people I come into close contact with. I thought that’s to much risk to me as did the union and my manager. Why else would a lorry driver need to self isolate?
Self isolating or shielding after a letter which was the initial query?I’m a lorry driver, I have COPD and am self isolating for 12 weeks. Ok I’m on my own in a lorry whilst driving but that’s it. Yeah I’m lucky that I’m getting paid, but I have guaranteed overtime on my duty every week and obviously they’re not paying me that. Loosing about £120 a week but at least I’m getting basic paySelf isolating or shielding after a letter which was the initial query?
Good that your employer is paying you
Does it really matter for the purpose of the query? Both are one less lorry at a time when the strain is showing supermarket logistics seem dysfunctional.Self isolating or shielding after a letter which was the initial query?

Almost everyone is now eating at home however, and not buying lunch out at pret and the like, not eating out.It must all be panic buying if food sales have gone up 10% and the population hasn't grown - except round the waist?
I don't know. How panicky were you when selecting them?Does 3 cycling jersey's in 2 weeks count as panic buying?
