I thought cocaine caused a runny nose???

Ah, I always get that wrong. I've been a bit easily confused since my nose fell off.

I asked AI to show the 'real' me.
Lots of medicines (digitalis from foxgloves) and drugs (cocaine from coca plant) come from natural products. Drug companies extract the necessary parts and refine them, test them and then qualify them. So organic broccoli or whatever is reverse engineering a product.

Whether you want to accept the OP's assertions is up to the individual. But since some of my family have been involved in drug testing (as a lot of lab rats will attest to) I'd take it all with a pinch of salt, some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

This is what perplexes me. Such people exist.

I can understand it
I would rather they believe in the magical powers of broccoli than that the ruling classes are lizards who are farming us as food
so the only way to tackle them is to loot the local off license
(other theories are available - some weirder than this as you know)

and believe me - I wouldn'tbe be surprised in my wife's brother-in-law came up with that one at some point - although he would not loot the off-license as his wife would kill him!

I wonder if by some wonderful coincidence the OP has a vested interest in growing or selling organic brocoli, spinach or tomatoes?

Wouldn't it be lovely if they returned and posted a link to their product?

Do a search on the first sentence and you find a word-for-word post in Mumsnet from the same account name. I can’t work out the angle though.

Good spot

also a one time post with no apparent motive other than belief

Mumsnet does seem a reasonable place for it to be - unlike CycleChat which is rather off to one side of the WWW
(no - I'm not saying weird - although at times ..........)

wonder if it is anywhere else

I love broccoli myself, grow too, but, alas, I don't suffer from hay fever, cannot test the OP's theory.

Not on this mod's watch!

Mod Note:
Indeed this was my thinking.
Granted, a bit of an odd first post on a cycling forum, but no spam.

It's probably a spambot - exactly the same thing was posted on Mumsnet yesterday too...
