There's some right miserables on here, the two brothers are a pair of knobheads, as confirmed when they accepted Tony Blair's invitation to number ten just so that he could be cool by association, but they were the best band of their time.

When they were at their peak coincided with me getting a job with decent money and enjoying it before I became a parent, also see Euro 96.

And don't mention The Beatles, they weren't even the best band in the sixties, above them was -

The Who
The Kinks
Hendrix

And even though I'm no fan of the Rolling Stones, Paint it Black is better than anything The Beatles did.

But no I'll not be paying £148 for a ticket.

The Rolling Stones have to be up there as one of the Best British bands from the 1960s onwards.
The Stone Roses were a billion times more talented than Oasis and a better band.

The fact that so many tickets end up on resale site immediately is a scandal that needs to be sorted out.
Resale at higher prices should be illegal.
Oasis issued a statement saying please only resell tickets at face value. Plus a vague threat that those resold at a premium could be rendered invalid.

Yeah, right.

Oasis kind of passed me by. They were background wallpaper music that I heard here and there in the late 90s. I have no real objection to them. That "Silicon Way" one was quite catchy.
